Subject: Kronch salmon oil and Healthy Hounds treats.
Hi Lara,
I am back and placing my second order with you for two reasons, the first one being that my little Shih Tzu Alice thinks your treats are divine!! I really am not kidding she now refuses previously enjoyed treats! Given the choice she would eat your treats instead of her dog food at meal times! I like the fact that I know she is getting a treat that is not full of things that are bad for her with names that I can’t pronounce or understand, no additives just good wholesome treats that smell so delicious I am almost tempted myself, Alice is a very small Shih Tzu and because of that I have to be very careful about the things I feed her so as you can imagine I am delighted to have found treats that she loves and I can give her knowing there won’t be any nasty side effects! Also they are good value which is a bonus, a huge “thank you” from Alice!!
My main reason for coming back to you is the Kronch Salmon Oil, it is fantastic! I will try to be brief and tell you why I really can’t sing its praises loudly enough. Towards the end of 2007 as per usual I applied a very well known flea repellant to Alice, not aware that the new one was a different formulation to the older one, Alice had a very bad reaction to the new one, so bad that she was biting herself and literally digging lumps of hair out of herself, she really was in a bad way, several very expensive visits to the vets later and she was no better (at this time we didn’t know it was the flea application that had caused the problem) her diet was changed, everything that could be done was done with no improvement. A different vet was recommended, he immediately diagnosed the problem gave Alice 2 weeks antibiotics and a steroid injection, all of which was paid for by the manufacturers of the product, I have to say they were very kind and helpful.
Things started to settle down but the damage to her skin and coat were dreadful a friend suggested trying Salmon Oil so I duly purchased some, not the Kronch one at this point and very expensive it was too!! But like most pet owners I had to try it, to be fair it was ok, I was running out of it when I saw yours on ebay, it was a lot cheaper and I did wonder if it was going to be false economy but decided to give it a go, I am so pleased that I did as we haven’t looked back since it arrived, within days Alice was brighter her coat was looking thicker, it really didn’t take very long and the bald patches started to grow back, at the time I purchased the 250ml size that was in May, there is still quite a bit left in the pot! I am ordering now because I can’t risk running out of it!! As with most doggie stories this one has a very happy ending..thanks to Kronch Salmon Oil, Alice is back to her old self, her coat is to die for it shines, its thick, the dry scabby sore skin has gone, my bright eyed funny, affectionate baby is back, full of life and living it to the full!! I honestly put all of that down to the miracle of Kronch Salmon Oil Alice will continue to be given it for the rest of her life, of all the things I tried throughout this awful period Kronch really has had the biggest impact. You are now stuck with us because we aren’t even going to think about trying a different oil, there really is no point this one is the best.

We've been using the Kronch salmon oil for our dogs for years, so I can't say I notice any difference! When I did run out for any period of time in the past, I noticed that my 12 1/2 year old started acting her age and getting grumpy with our four year old instead of tossing him across the room in their wild wrestling matches. I take fish oil myself so know its benefits first hand.
The oil is especially helpful for my Dals who cannot have oily fish (almost all sorts are high in purines which, in Dals, could lead to urate stone-forming). As I've said in our conversations at the stand, purines are a feature of certain proteins and are not part of oils.
It's good to have a supplier I can reach for re-orders so easily.

My 3 Dogue de Bordeauxs' skin come out in red weals which became infected to the point of the dogs losing most of their coats. This happened over a matter of weeks when they reached the age of around 18 months. After tests ,which showed they were allergic to every food type apart from chicken and fish we searched for a cure. We have found it in Salmon Oil ,and a brand of complete dog food by trial and error. The oil was recommended by a vet in America and during 10 weeks of antibiotics for the infected skin we started giving the oil . Their coats are thick, dark red, glossy and there is no sign of the allergy. The dogs love the oil on their food and I would recommend anyone who has the misfortune to encounter any allergies.

What can I say!! Salmon oil has been my saviour and the fish treats are
also first class. I was first advised by my vet to try salmon oil on two
of my Golden Retrievers. Although they had very different complaints she
thought it would benefit both of them. One of them has had recurrent ear
infections and as she explained to me salmon oil is great for skin and
since starting him on it in February he has been totally clear of infection.
The other has had problems with thickening and ulcerations of his back
passage and at his last check up he is almost 100% there.
Now instead of just these two being on it I now give it to all of them.
They are all bright,healthy with beautiful coats and in fact on numerous
occasions I have been asked at shows what I am giving them to make them
in such good condition. Everytime I tell them salmon oil and I know the
majority of them are giving it a go. Believe me they won't be disappointed!!

I HAVE BEEN GIVING THE SALMON OIL TO BOTH OF MY COCKER SPANIEL DOGS FOR THE PAST 6 WEEKS, ONE DOG IS 15YEARS OLD AND IS NOW AS ACTIVE AS HE WAS WHEN YOUNG,HE HAS A ONE HOUR WALK ROUND THE PARK DAILY AND EVEN THE VET REMARKED ON HOW ACTIVE HE IS. HE NEVER SEEMS TO GET TIRED. MY OTHER DOG IS 6 YEARS OLD AND A RESCUE DOG , I HAVE HAD HIM FOR 8 MONTHS, WHEN HE CAME TO US HE HAD LOT OF DRY SCABBY AREAS ALL OVER HIS SKIN, FOR PAST 6 WEEKS I HAVE BEEN GIVING HIM SALMON OIL AND NOW HIS SKIN IS COMPLETLY CLEAR AND HEALTHY. I WAS QUITE UNSURE AT FIRST IF IT WOULD DO ANY GOOD BUT THOUGHT IT WORTH A TRY. HOWEVER I AM VERY IMPRESSED AND DELIGHTED AT THE RESULTS. I WILL CONTINUE TO GIVE IT TO BOTH MY DOGS AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE WHO HAS A DOG.

My dad and I have been breeding and showing Bull Terriers for 25 years. Every now and then we would have a dog or a bitch with a dry skin problem.
At the moment it’s my dog ‘Hawk’ who is 14 months old. I have brought him to so many different vets who have given him creams, antibiotics, shampoos etc, you name it and we’ve tried it and as you can imagine it cost a fortune.
That was until 1 day at my regular trips to a Dublin show, I met a man selling Kronch salmon oil for 30 Euro. I thought sure I might as well as I had tried everything else, I’ll try it and see what happens.
In Hawk’s morning feed I put 2 pumps of the oil, and to my surprise
after 2 weeks of using it, his coat is looking better than ever, it’s
never been shinier.
For 30 Euro, my bottle of Kronch salmon oil has lasted me 2 months, a
lot less than any vet bill has ever cost me and it worked.
I would recommend it to anyone who has a dog with any skin problems.
